Join Island Peace and Justice as we commemorate the anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, with a few minutes of silence followed by shared thoughts. All are welcome.
The remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026 in the Deer Isle Memorial Park, next to the Ark (formerly Pilgrim's Inn).
